This therapy uses liquorices, sweet flag and emetic nut. Although uncomfortable, detoxification induces vomiting, thereby eliminating undigested food from the body.

Swedanam: In this process, the patient is compelled to perspire, thus eliminating impurities from his/her sweat glands. It helps cure vata dosha and is performed through heat chamber using a medicated steam or external heat application. Exercises or heavy blankets are often recommended to infertility patients to sweat profusely. It helps eliminate toxins.

Triphala Churna, Gokshura and Guduchi: It helps clean blockages present in the body and prevents dhatu shukra production.

Ashwagandha Churna Y Kapikacchu: They can enhance sperm quality and count.

Banyan tree bark: The bark powder of dry fig tree is often recommended by Ayurveda practitioners and it should be combined with sugar. It can help treat infertility problems.

Shatavari: It helps cure female infertility.

Some commonly prescribed Ayurvedic medicines to treat infertility

Practitioners recommend medications like Lehyams, Arishtams and Kashayams. These are oral medications which are extracted from spices, leaves and medicinal herbs.
