Ayurveda Diagnosis For Female Infertility

The Ayurveda is an ancient system of healing our body, mind and soul. The methods of diagnosis in the Ayurveda are very detailed. This helps to diagnose the root cause of the condition and hence suggest an appropriate remedy. For example, for female infertility, the cervical mucus consistency is an important diagnosis method. The mucus must provide a healthy environment for the sperm transport and inception. Hence, a diagnosis of the cervical mucus helps delve deeper into the causes of infertility. Women who use excessive vaginal products are known to suffer from cervical mucus inconsistency. When one of the body Dosha gets vitiated, the cervical mucus consistency is affected.

The texts of Ayurveda suggest that thin mucus is caused when the Vata of the person is vitiated. If the mucus seems thicker the Kapha of the person is imbalanced. Thicker mucus may also indicate the presence of infection in the vagina. An Ayurveda practitioner will be able to suggest medicines which bring about the balance in the Dosha and hence cure the disease. The thicker mucus makes sperm transport very difficult and is often caused due to infections or toxic accumulation. Consuming preserved foods consisting of chemical preservatives is the primary cause of cervical mucus inconsistency in women.

At Khokar, the traditional Ayurveda diagnosis is applied to every case of female infertility. Accumulated toxic is flushed out of the system with the cell detoxification process. This helps to tone down the reproductive organs which now respond to the herbal remedies suggested by the Ayurveda practitioner.
