How To Treat A Blocked Fallopian Tube With Ayurveda

The reproductive system of women comprises three parts like fallopian tubes, uterus, and two ovaries.

Ovaries are connected with the fallopian tubes, which are connected to the uterus. In each month of ovulation, the egg gets released from the ovaries at the fallopian tubes that fertilize with sperm (male egg) and conception occurs.

Fertilized egg now travels towards the uterus to implant through fallopian tubes. When the fallopian tubes are blocked, the eggs won’t be released at the tubes and the passage for sperm to reach the eggs gets blocked. Hence, it can hamper the fertilization.

Causes Of Blocked Fallopian Tubes
  • Adhesions due to Adenomyosis or Endometriosis.
  • Congenital anomalies.
  • Scar tissue.
  • Infections in the pelvic area.
  • Tuberculosis of the uterus.
Symptoms Of A Blocked Fallopian Tube

Usually there are no symptoms related to the fallopian tube blockage. People get to know it, when they face problems in getting pregnant. Hysterosalpingogram can tell you about the fallopian tube’s condition. After that, the treatment of fallopian tubes can be done.

We can suspect a tubal blockage in adenomyosis, endometriosis, and in tuberculosis patients. Few may get regular pain at one side of the iliac region due to hydrosalpinx. This can also create a tubal blockage.

Fallopian Tube Blockage Affects Fertility In Women

Female and male eggs meet at the fallopian tube. When the tube gets blocked, it prevents the fertilization causing infertility. When both the tubes are blocked, the natural conception isn’t possible. But if a single tube is blocked, the patient can conceive naturally. Patients can opt for IVF when both of the fallopian tubes are blocked. As per Ayurveda, we’ll try to open the fallopian tube blockage naturally with Panchakarma therapies and ayurvedic medicines.
