Causes for Loss of Sexual Drive & Desire in Women

Women these days are found to lose their sexual desire in surprisingly increasing numbers. Sexual loss yearning is considered to be HSDD (Hypoactive sexual desire disorder). Such dysfunction occurs in women of every age. However, it is more related to reducing hormones, relationship issues, job stress and other issues experienced by women. Decline in sexual drive in women can be due to age & physiological factors.

Sexual problems: If during sexual intercourse, the woman is unable to orgasm or experiences pain, then it is likely to hamper her sexual desire.

Surgery: If the woman had any type of surgery like the genital tract or breasts, then it can affect her sexual desire, function and body image.

Medications: There are several prescription medications as well as anti-seizure medications & anti-depressants which are libido killers.
