Is Obesity Linked to Infertility

The commonly known one is being overweight that directly affects the fertility rate in women. Now it has been proven that overweight affects male fertility too.

Men exhibiting increased BMI were more likely to be infertile than the normal-weighing men. If the men’s weight increases by 20-pound, it increases the chances of infertility by 10%.The females with overweight are unable to conceive. This is the known risk factor of anovulation and menstrual dysfunction.
