High FSH levels may indicate a woman\u2019s ovaries have shut down because of perimenopause, menopause, or that she is has an\u2002ovarian cause of primary infertility. If a woman\u2019s\u2002FSH is low, it might indicate she stopped making eggs. AMH is produced only in ovarian follicles, so the level of\u2002AMH in the blood indicates that new follicles are developing.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other tests may involve examination of\u2002the fallopian tubes to check if there is a blockage that prevents the egg from moving through the ovaries. With the uterine cavity full, it is easier to visualize the lining\u2002of its interior. Pelvic organs\u2002can be visualized on transvaginal\u00a0 ultrasound.
