Maturation Arrest Of Azoospermia:<\/strong><\/a> Malfunction in valves of erect posture leading to hypoxia at sperm production site<\/p>\n Spermatogenesis undergoes maturation arrest that is diagnosed in histology as spermatogenesis interruption before the final stage, without the presence of Leydig cells or the impairment of Sertoli. This can be known as absolute infertility<\/strong><\/a> or irreversible condition. Varicocele means impairment of the testicular venous drainage system causing bilateral disease.<\/p>\n Valve malfunction can increase the hydrostatic pressure of the testicular venous system exceeding the pressure of the arterial system causing hypoxia at the testicular microcirculation, sperm production site and seminiferous tubules. Therefore, the production of sperm deteriorates causing azoospermia.<\/p>\n Maturation Arrest happens if the genetic factors get excluded in the final stage of the long-standing hypoxia. This shows an independent disease entity causing the progressive process of deterioration in the testicular parenchyma resulting in azoospermia. Through electron microscopy and histology, our prediction can be partially confirmed.<\/p>\n Degenerative ischaemic changes in seminiferous tubules is associated with Maturation Arrest. Treatment of super-selective chemotherapy or bilateral varicocele microsurgery of the internal spermatic veins is vertically oriented having the network of venous bypass resuming the oxygenated blood flow.
