The disease is known to affect male and female but is more common in women. It is a common condition which affects the age group of 14 to 40. The infection is caused when a parasite gains an entry into the system through the vagina during sexual intercourse. Most cases(about 70%) of Trich go unnoticed for many people do not show symptoms of infection. For some, it might clear within weeks of infection while few may suffer for long.<\/p>\n<p>When the immune system of a person is weakened the parasite may spread to the other organs like the mouth, anus, and the hands. A diagnosis is required to ascertain that a person is suffering from Trichomoniasis. In men, most cases do not observe symptoms of infection or recurrence. In women, the symptoms like smelly vaginal discharge, along with painful urination and itching vagina is observed. It affects men and women but the complications are greater for women. Men may pass it on to the partners and hence put to risk the chances of conception or safe delivery of the partner.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #339966;\">What is the Conventional mode of treatment?<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>Antibiotics for terminating the parasites are recommended for both the partners to rule out further transmission from each other. This dose is adjusted according to the recurrence pattern of the infection. This condition is known to occur very often. In some cases, it occurs within three months of finishing the course. The prevalence of short-term polygamous relationships can be attributed to being the main cause of the recurrence of this disease.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #339966;\">How to Avoid Recurrence?<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Take it slowly when it comes to sexual intimacy in a relationship. Building a strong bond before entering sexual intimacy helps one retain a mutually monogamous relationship and hence keep many other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khokardispensary.com\/ayurveda-treatment-venereal-diseases\/\">STD<\/a>s at bay.<\/li>\n<li>If you indulge in sex, ensure that latex condoms are used in right manner.<\/li>\n<li>If you happen to suffer from the symptoms, get your partner also treated for Trich and abstain from sex during the treatment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sometimes the parasites develop resistance to the antibiotics and hence may trigger a stronger recurrence.
